Relocating from the Amalfi Coast to the Bay of Naples is supposed to be easy. . . Ferry?  (No! Seas too High!!) Bus? (No! Rock slide on the road!!) Taxi? . . . . Sure!! Hand over ALL your money and we'll crank up the Mercedes. Cogito ergo Zoom. . . (I think, therefore I go Fast!!)  Minutes later we arrive in Sorrento fresh as a daisy, but poorer than we would have liked. As it turns out, we think that the bus drivers and Taxi drivers rigged this whole thing up to increase Taxi driver income for the day. . . . There was, as one would expect from a rigged deal, one smallish stone and a handful of gravel on the road causing all the hubbub!! We don't care. . . . The sun is kinda-sorta out. It is warm and dry and we get to go to Pompeii!! What a kick that is!! Turns out Volcanos can be bad for one's health!! Really, really bad. Fun day, interesting day and Chris is giving it his all despite running on empty. Snuggled up in our hotel in Sorrento we are glad things worked out this way. . . . . . It is RAINING like crazy, but we are warm, dry and there is a bar downstairs that looks promising. Stay happy and be kind to each other! Tomorrow (With a little luck!) we go to Venice. There is no resting on this trip. We have things to see and places to go!!
