Paula & Duane

Friday, April 20, 2012

Uncommon diligence and gritty determination mark this intrepid traveling team. Duane tried to walk everyone into the ground, but that has  thwarted as the ground is strewn with 2,000 year old relics. We have been way too busy to post, but because we love you we will persevere. This morning's post was lost to the ethernet or somewhere, so we will try again. Duane has been kicked out of a few places and can now add the Sistine Chapel to the list!! It seems the highsheriff has rules about "Oh NO you can't take that picture!" in the chapel. So, Mr. Roggow, you must leave after deleting your entire memory stick of all Sistine images. . . . Okay. Who knew? Seems like everyone but the afore metioned, Mr. Roggow. Duane blames Paula as it was her camera that was the offending device. Shame on Paula. Today we hit the Collossuem, Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain. We are brave and fearless travelers as the entire mass transit system is on STRIKE today. . . . And yet we forge ahead without hesitation as we must do these things. Mother Nature also attacks with some kind of evil Italian anger and RAINS, RAINS, RAINS!!! We don't care! We are strong! We are Shrink proof and hunger for culture. . . . Tomorrow we take the train to the Amalfi Coast and Positano. We are ready to kick back on the Med. Take care. Be kind to each other and pray for sun.
