We are up and at em this morning for our bus ride to Florence. More beautiful Tuscan countryside and more wild, red poppies. Day one in Florence turns hotter than blazes. It has been perfect or cool and then. . . . HOT! We don't care. We load up with water and sun block and hit the streets a running. Dang there are alot of tourists here. I thought there was a global recession going on? ? ? ? Today was slow. . . . Just checking out David and the gang of renaissance big wigs on guard in the Uffizi side yard. Good Times. The Baptistry by the Duomo is a big hit with the complete story of the Bible told on the ceiling of the dome in mosaics. Cool!!
Everyone is getting up to full strength, but we will play it cool tomorrow. No pictures today, but will try and get some loaded tomorrow. We are certain that Paula and Betty will have to spend several hours in the street market, while Chris and Duane will find a comfy seat on the top of a building and chill out. Gotta go! It is almost time for the "Italian Stroll" to begin.
