It may just be that Duane has a mean streak. . . . . No, No, No, Not on purpose, of course,  but there is adequate evidence that he walked Chris, and probably Betty, right into the ground. it all started off innocently enough with a short walk to the Military Museum at the Invilades complex. Then it all fell apart. This museum doesn't open until 10:00 AM and t is only 9:00. . . . Oh! Oh! Betty asks, "How far to the Arc de Triomphe?". . . . . Duane says, "It's just up the street, not far at all, we'll walk." And that is how the whole day went. . . . "How far is . . . . . . . .?" Duane says, "Oh, it is close let's just walk." 6 hours later, after Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, Tuilleries Garden, Louvre Garden, St. Chapelle, Notre Dame, St Germaine, Military Museum, Napoleon's Tomb we limped, staggered and crawled back to the Hotel Relais Bosquet badly in need of rest. . . . But we are strong American tourists! We will recover (I think) and return to do it all over tomorrow.
